Violet Affleck, 2 ½, had her hands full with gum, receipts, and more as she and mom Jennifer Garner, sporting a Gerard Darel maxi dress, exited Ralph's supermarket on Thursday. The pair were picking up cake and balloons in preparation for Ben Affleck's 36th birthday, which is today.

The couple expect their second child this winter.
