Tamzin Outhwaite and Tom Ellis welcome daughter Florence Elsie

Despite teasing journalists with a comment about her blue dress, the baby Tamzin Outhwaite gave birth to last week was, in fact, a girl! Florence Elsie Ellis is the first child for the 37-year-old former EastEnders actress and the second for partner Tom Ellis, who is already father to Nora, 2 ½.

A statement from Tamzin's rep said that the parents were "pleased to announce" the birth, but did not provide any details besides their daughter's name. The couple had announced the pregnancy in March.
