Gabriel Soto and Geraldine Bazan Expecting First Child

During a press junket last Thursday, Mexican actor Gabriel Soto and his girlfriend, actress Geraldine Bazán, announced they are expecting their first child in February. Calling the pregnancy "the biggest news that can exist," the couple said they are elated about becoming parents for the first time, and see their baby as a "product of the love we have for each other."

Geraldine revealed to the press that while on location for her telenovela Victoria, she "sensed" that she needed to visit the doctor, and upon doing so, discovered the big news. After her suspicions were confirmed, the actress "as a woman, took some time" for everything to sink in until she was ready to make the big call to Gabriel.

While Geraldine is only around nine weeks pregnant, the couple have already decided on names for their baby -- Maximiliano or Dios del Viento "in some language" if it's a boy, and Elisa if it's a girl, after Gabriel's late mother.
