A statement posted today on the official website of the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France -- where Angelina Jolie delivered fraternal twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline one week ago -- says that both mom and babies were discharged early this morning. Spokesperson Nadine Bauer thanks both the medical team for their "attention and care," as well as those journalists around the world "who did their best" to respect the privacy of the 33-year-old actress and her partner, Brad Pitt, while at Lenval. The statement adds,
The mother and her babies are doing very well.
Knox and Vivienne are the fifth and sixth children for the couple; they join older siblings Maddox Chivan, 6 ½, Pax Thien, 4 ½, Zahara Marley, 3 ½, and Shiloh Nouvel, 2.
