Expecting Gillian Anderson Feels Better After Three Bad Months
The first trimester of her third pregnancy was "debilitating" for Gillian Anderson, but now that she's past those "terrible first three months," she tells USA Weekend she's feeling "great." The 39-year-old actress -- already mom to Piper Maru, 13, and Oscar, 20 months -- expects a baby in the fall with boyfriend Mark Griffiths, and admits that she doesn't "recall feeling that bad" with her previous pregnancies. She adds,
It makes you wonder why you subject yourself to that over and over again.
Because she had Piper when she was "quite young" the relationship they share is "close" and "intense," Gillian says. Then again, Gillian says becoming a mom again in her late-30's has its own advantages, noting "there's something about having a bit more life experience behind me this time."
