Paris Bennett set to welcome her own princess

Paris Bennett, who placed fifth in season 5 of American Idol, is expecting her first child -- a daughter -- in October, confirmed her mother Jamecia Bennett. There is no information released about the father, other than "he chooses not to be in the public eye" stated Jamecia. The proud grandmother couldn't hide her excitement either when declaring that the baby "makes five generations" for her family. A baby shower is being planned for August.

The 19-year-old expectant mom posed for the cameras while backstage at the Songs of Soul and Inspiration Concert celebrating the 50th Anniversary of AARP on Saturday, June 21st at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.
