Originally posted June 25th: When Stella Doreen McDermott came into the world on June 9th, mom Tori Spelling shared that she had two thoughts: "She is so beautiful" and "She has black hair! Where did that come from?!" Expecting another child to look like blonde, fair 15-month-old son Liam Aaron, Tori and husband Dean McDermott instead met the tan, dark-haired Stella. It was just another surprise their daughter had in store for them -- even her conception was unexpected, the actress explained.

She's a miracle. I was on one pill and wasn't feeling well, so I went off of it. Two days later, the doctor put me on another, and on that one day, we conceived. It was meant to be!

Dean, 41, echoed his wife's statements of wonder and joy at the birth, revealing that he "bawled his face off" when she arrived, "out of pure joy."

There is nothing like it -- you feel it that moment. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Little boys are awesome. They're just like a little you. But having a little girl is something else. As a man, you just lose it.

Although Tori, 35, had a scheduled c-section to deliver Stella, now 2-weeks-old, she wants to make clear that it is not all sunshine and rainbows and certainly not her first choice. She "was more nervous" to deliver this time, knowing what to expect after Liam's emergency c-section delivery in 2007, which occurred because of a failure to progress after hours of labor. Stressing that "it's major surgery," Tori explained her thoughts on the topic.

Regular birth seems easier to me than having your whole stomach cut open. I always read people are like, "Oh, C-sections are so Hollywood! All actresses do them." Do you know what a C-section entails? They basically cut you open, remove your insides to get the baby out and literally put your uterus on your stomach and then put it back in. It's pretty crazy...

One of the downsides of the surgery is no physical activity or heavy lifting for six weeks -- not being able to pick up Liam is "killing me," Tori said. She's also not looking forward to losing the weight, although she did gain less than with her first pregnancy.

With my first pregnancy, I lost the weight on the NutriSystem program, and it was great. But I didn't go right back [to my old shape]. It took me a good seven months. I did it the right way, but I hate working out. I'm breastfeeding right now, so that gives you a little time to say, "I don't have to diet."

Since the birth of their daughter, there has been one small problem -- Dean and Tori can't decide which parent Stella looks like. Tori shared, "I think she looks exactly like Dean," but says, "he'll tell you otherwise." This conundrum is nothing new for the pair, who went through the same questioning process 15 months ago.

That's how we were with Liam too, though. I think it's hard to see yourself in your child. Now I see a lot of Liam in me. Stella purses her lips like me. She has my lips, definitely. but I think from the nose up, it's Dean. [laughs] Lips down is me.

Speaking of Liam, he's not too excited about his new sister, Tori laughs. The day they brought Stella home, "he had this look on his face. And I could see his thought process: "Oh my god! She's here, she's ours, she's staying!" However, her oldest brother, 9-year-old Jack, is more enthusiastic, despite their 3,000 mile distance. Tori shared, "It's really hard for us and for him. He's really excited. He loves Liam, so I'm excited for him to see Stella." "We talk on the phone everyday," Dean continued. "He's always asking how Liam, Stella, and "T" are."

Geography plays a big part in it. Obviously, it's hard being 3,000 miles away. But he's my number one son, he always will be. I had a conversation with him the other day, and I said, "Thanks, buddy." He was like, "What are you thanking me for?" I said, "Thank you for teaching me how to be a dad."

Tori, who "never thought" she'd have a daughter, was convinced that "because I'm so girly-girly, I'll have all boys." With the birth of her baby girl, the actress is enjoying the new wardrobe choices, putting Stella in an array of dresses for her first photoshoot, featured in OK! this week! One choice that wasn't so easy was choosing a name. Although they decided on Liam immediately after discovering the sex, settling on a girl's name was a much tougher dilemma. "It took us forever," Tori explained. "We had one of those 5,000 baby name books, went through it page by page. Nothing was working." Finally, success!

I used to be obsessed with the book Great Expectations, and Estella was the main character. So I told that to Dean and he was like, "That's a great name." We were kind of playing back and forth, calling her Estella. It wasn't fitting, though. And then one day, Dean was like, "What about Stella?" I said, "That's it!"

So is this it for Spelling-McDermott babies? The couple says we may be able to expect one more, because they "like making babies."

T: I always said I'd be happy having one of each, and I still maintain that. But I wouldn't mind having three.

D: Definitely. Three seems to be the magic number. But you never know with us, because we're that wacky and in love and can't keep our hands off each other. We may have a full hockey team...
