Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law earnings donation to Heath Ledger’s daughter

Once again, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law amaze the public, not with their talent as actors, but by donating their share of the earnings from the new movie “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus” to Heath Ledger’s two-year-old daughter with Michelle Williams, Matilda, in order to ensure her a secure future.

Production of “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus”, which will be released in 2009, was temporarily suspended because of Heath Ledger’s tragic death, so his role was recast with Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law. The actors will portray physically changed transformations of Ledger’s character, Tony, as he travels through three separate dimensions accessed using a paranormal mirror that belonged to a traveling theatre group.

The movie’s director Terry Gilliam was also impressed by the actors’ involvement in finishing the production and by their altruism: “They came, they did the work, they allowed the movie to be finished, they didn’t take money – the money goes the Heath’s daughter. That’s extraordinary!”
