Liv Tyler No Longer Torn About Being a Working Mom - SendMeRSS
Like most boys his age, 3 ½-year-old Milo William is "obsessed with cars and tractors," Liv Tyler says, and the obsession has led to some fun outings for mother and son. "During my days off I have to drive him around in this little golf cart, which he calls a tractor," the 31-year-old actress shares with the Times Online in a new interview. Life with a toddler has been good for Liv on a variety of levels, not the least of which is professionally. Having spent the bulk of her time since Milo's birth doing supporting roles, she's recently returned to lead actress territory -- a place she says she missed. "I'm glad to be back," she says, "Now that I can bring my son with me, I don't feel as torn as I once did." She adds,
It was important for me to have that period away. It was a really interesting, reflective time, making me realize that I do love my career...After having almost two years away with Milo, I just want to work now.
Milo is Liv's son with estranged husband Royston Langdon; the couple separated in May.
